I was inspired by my great grandfather William Van Dawson Burnett who built a log cabin in Utah in the year1870. My grandfather, George Burnett, who homesteaded, and built a log cabin in Bannack MT. And my father, Darwin Burnett, who moved his wife and three young children to Bear Canyon and then started building a cabin. (photo to come later) At age 18, I built this cabin in Bear Canyon and still own it today. My wife and I honeymooned here and lived here for the first year and a half of our now 20 year marriage. Cabins are a part of my heritage |
